You have an idea for a clothing line. Perhaps the first sketches are already ready. Or maybe you just have a mood board, a target audience, and a head full of plans for now.
That is enough to get started. Bebambo guides you from the initial idea to a finished garment.
Step 1: tell us about your brand
We start with your story.
For whom do you want to make clothing? What look are you going for? What should the garment express, solve, or add to your existing range?
You don't need to know every detail yet. We will help you make your idea concrete.
Step 2: choose your way to start
You can develop your own model entirely from scratch. This gives you maximum freedom in terms of fit, details, and finishing.
Would you like to start smaller or faster? Then you can start from an existing Bebambo model and adapt it to your brand.
Step 3: determine the material
Not every bamboo fabric is suitable for every garment. A T-shirt requires a different level of firmness and elasticity than a blouse or skirt.
Together, we choose the right fabric, weight, texture, and composition. You will receive swatches so that you can feel and assess the material yourself.
Step 4: flesh out the design
We record all choices:
- the model and the fit;
- the color;
- the sizes;
- the seams and finishing;
- labels and branding;
- any buttons, zippers, or other details.
This way, the studio knows exactly what to make.
Step 5: assess the sample
The studio creates an initial sample of your garment. We will try it on and assess it thoroughly.
Does the fabric drape as intended? Is the length correct? Is the garment comfortable? Are all details well-finished?
We collect the adjustments and, if necessary, have a new sample made.
Step 6: start production
After your approval, our partners in Portugal will start production.
Bebambo monitors the process and ensures that the agreements made are upheld. This keeps the line between your brand and the studio short.
Ready to launch
After production, you will receive a clothing line that fits your brand and is ready for sale.
Launching your own collection doesn't start with a hundred finalized decisions. It starts with one good idea and the right production partner.
